A few weeks ago we were thinking of not paying our thithes due to financial struggles.
We made the decision to trust God and pay out tithes.
That week God moved someone to tithe over their normal tithes and directed the church to give it to us as a benevolent gift. It was what we needed to get by.
We praise God for how He moves!

To all who reads this,
I want all to know how powerful prayer really is. We were broke & so far behind in bills, there was no way out. Or so I thought. I thought wrong.
We asked our pastor (Richard) for counseling on marriage & finances. He instructed us to pray every night. We have prayed each and every night. As our sessions progressed, we examined our finances. Set priorities on bills, utilities, and tithes. We barely had the money to pay our own way each month, so I never bothered to tithe. He showed me how wrong I was for this. As my wife & I were traveling home we were discussing weather to give after we catch up on a few bills or start the next month. We agreed to take the leap of faith and start the next month regardless of a bill may not get paid. I will no longer steal from God. This was in March.
April 1st at 12:01am there was a deposit into our checking acct. We feared this was the dreadful April fools joke. As the bank opened we inquired as the origin of the money. We were told the US Gov. sent the money. We asked them as why this was sent, & was told it was money owed to us from last year. This particular day I realized God does have sense of humor. I also saw that He has given me the money to pay my delinquent taxes on our home & another extreme must pay bill. God also provided me with a job on this day.
All this being said, the reason I was able to keep our home, gain employment, & see a little light at the end of the financial tunnel is by the grace of God. I could not have done this by myself or with the help of a few friends. I cannot stress enough on ask God (pray) & do the things He has asked of each of us. Read your bible, God does not ask a lot of us, just that we do His will. We are not asked to do what we cannot do, just do as he says. God will provide all the ways, means, & the tools to get our needs fulfilled.
I have experienced a little of God's awesome power, now that my eyes have been opened, I truly see the things He has done for me. Won't you let Him do for you?
